1972 Chevrolet Corvette Big Block Coupe. This Corvette is finished
in eye popping correct Code 973 Mille Miglia Red accented by a
clean, also correct Code 421 leather Saddle interior. Under the
hood lies the massive LS5 454CI Big Block V8 engine rated at 270HP
from the factory and enough torque to keep you pinned back in your
seat. The engine is a casting code and date code correct counter
exchange block and is mated to the original numbers matching Turbo
Hydra-Matic 3 speed automatic transmission. This model year is the
last to be graced with chrome bumpers on the front and rear due to
federal crash mandates. It is also the last year for the vacuum
operated winshield door and removable rear window. Over 27,000
Corvettes were produced in 1972 but only 3,912 of them were
fortunate enough to be equipped with the RPO LS5 454 Big Block
engine making them highly sought after. The engine compartment on
our Corvette is nicely detailed and features a factory style air
cleaner and valve covers as well as proper tower hose clamps as it
should have to complete the stock appearance.This C3 is also nicely
equipped and features power steering, power brakes with front disc,
power windows, 4 season factory air conditioning, leather bucket
seats with center console, AM FM stereo, tilt / telescopic steering
column, factory shoulder belts, and correct rally wheels wrapped in
BFG radial TA tires. We have a whole binder full of reciepts to
document any repairs done to the vehicle as well as reproduction
owners manuals, build sheet, and window sticker. It does not get
any better than a big block Corvette with factory air conditioning!
