1968 Ford Torino GT fastback. Straight from the high-banked ovals
of NASCAR, this aero champ of the late-60s, at least until the
arrival of the Mopar winged wonders. With a matching-numbers 390
cubic inch V8, an awesome factory color combination, and a very
family-friendly interior, this should be your next muscle car. No

Big, bold, and looking seriously fast, this code T paint candy
apple red Torino GT is all about street presence. The paint job was
done several years ago and certainly suits the fastback shape.
There are a few aging flaws, of course, but none of them detract
from the vintage NASCAR look that simply screams performance.
Factory white stripes highlight the wonderfully aggressive quarter
panels without being excessive, and it wears 390 badges with pride.
Of course, the rest of the trim has been freshened for a very clean
look. Perhaps more importantly, the glass remains in good original
condition, particularly the giant rear window, which is surely
almost impossible to replace. White bucket seat with rare factory
console and automatic transmission make this car feel as sporty
inside as it looks outside. The upholstery is in excellent
condition, and even the driver's seat shows very minimal wear.
Original carpets are in equally good shape and along with the
interior the door panels are original, in excellent condition. This
is the car's original, numbers-matching S-code engine. It idles
smoothly and pulls with mountainous torque, and if you want a big
block you can drive every day, this is it. The exhaust system gives
it a deep, performance voice and the automatic transmission is
durable enough to handle all that torque. The chassis is quite
