This award winning 1940 Chevrolet Master Deluxe 2 Door Sedan has only 511 miles since restoration and is just the car for shows or road trips with room for four and plenty of trunk space. The chopped top gives it a sleek profile but still maintains plenty of headroom for taller persons. The body is all steel with its original floor pans and an exceptionally solid car.
Comfort and beauty was clearly the theme of this customs interior. Interior amenities include full custom leather seats, door panels, and headliner. Bucket seats are power actuated with tilt backs. Custom dash is painted interior color with wood grain center. Gauges are mounted in dash wood and include speedometer, tach, oil pressure, water temp, voltage and fuel gauge. A/C vents are in dash. Also, there is a leather steering wheel mounted on a billet tilt column, power windows and door locks, Kenwood stereo with AM/FM and CD in dash. Door handles, pedals and shifter knob are billett.
The trunk is upholstered in leather with a leather covered battery box and chrome fire extinguisher.
The engine compartment is exceptionally nice. A lot of time was spent on the firewall as well as other details. The 350 c.i. engine is equiped with a Holley 4 barrel carb. , alum Corvette valve covers, alum. Water pump, Billet water pump pulley, and breather. The alternator and master cylinder cover are chrome. The polished front cover for the top of the radiator was custom made and very unique. The hood latch and latch plate are chrome.
The transmission is a smooth shifting turbo 350 automatic and the differential is a 10 bolt. The independent front suspension is from a Camaro and has power steering. Brakes are power disc front and drum rear. Wheels are American racing alum 5 spoke with B.F.Goodrich radial t/a tires. Front tires 205/70/15.
