Malibu SS....A true Super Sport from North Carolina. The exterior
is Azure Aqua, interior is black. This car was born with a 327
engine, muncie 4 speed manual transmission and factory 10 bolt rear
axle. The current engine is a fresh rebuilt 289 small block built
to L79 specs and includes a new Edelbrock intake, Holley 600 DP
carburetor and MSD distributor. It is mated to a Muncie close ratio
4 speed manual transmission. The factory 10 bolt rear axle has just
been totally rebuilt and upgraded with a limited slip differential
and new 3.36 gears. Some performance upgrades were added by the
previous owner such as a Hurst ram rod shifter, flowmaster X-pipe
dual exhaust, Autometer custom dash insert, line lock front
brake control and much more. Original parts that were removed will
be included in the sale such as the dash bezel with gauges,
original HP intake manifold & distributor, glass washer fluid
reservoir and more. The underside of the car is nearly spotless.
The body and paint are driver quality refinished within the last
year. This is not a show car but is very presentable with no dents
or even scratches. Just installed new wheel and rocker moldings to
complete the true Super Sport look. What a serious eye catcher with
the crisp trim and glass...she is simply gorgeous!! Prior to the
repaint, it had a frame off restoration, approximately 13 years
ago. The azure aqua paint has been sanded smooth and buffed to a
high gloss. This is a great first year Malibu and an opportunity to
own a pretty rare and clean piece of history at an affordable
price. These first year SS cars are rare and hard to find in this
