This 1968 Camaro has been rotisserie restored bumper to bumper. The body was sand blasted and epoxy primmered.. The body is laser straight and painted two stage with the black stripes buried in the clear coat, although this car has only been in a few local car shows, it won “Best Paint Award” competing with 415 other classics in Reno Nevada.
The sub frame ,front suspension, upper and lower control arms and rear axle housing were powder coated. New fuel tank and fuel lines, new brake lines and brakes including front disc Wilwood calipers with drilled and slotted rotors,
The drive train has a non matching numbers 302 cubic inch block and forged steel crank, loaded with muscle parts resulting in a dyno tested 437 horsepower. engine. Rebuilt Muncie four speed with Hurst linkage and a rebuilt 373 twelve bolt posi rear end. All new wiring harness,console gauges, tic-toc tachometer, MSD ignition. The vacuum hidden headlights have been replace with electric headlights from Detroit Speed and Engineering.
The interior looks new, dash panel is original with no cracks or fading,new headliner, interior is as nice as the cars exterior.
So many more new parts not mentioned, but have purchase receipts for almost everything. Tens of thousands have been put into the beautiful classic Camaro.
This car is a trailer queen, not a daily driver. It is stored indoors under a cover and is taken to car shows in a enclosed car hauler. It has less than 100 miles on it since the restoration.
