Just arrived, this is the very original example of the inaugural
year 1939 Mercury. Ford introduced the Mercury Division in 1939,
designed to bridge the luxury gap between Ford & Lincoln. Very
original survivor car with one nice older repaint.
All original interior with plastic seat covers, showing age wear.
Highly desired suicide doors and rust free body panels. Original
factory flathead V-8 and three speed manual transmission.
Original wheel covers and older whitewall tires. Original 82K miles since built. There is delamination on most of the original side glass. If desired, it can be replaced as part of the purchase. This car has an older single stage repaint in the factory Burgundy. Original Tan cloth bench seat interior. Original dash and gauges. Very nice original chrome & stainless. Original door panels, carpet and headliner. The car is equipped with the original 239 cubic inch flat head V-8 and three speed manual transmission. Factory wheels, wheel covers and older whitewall tires.
