This beautiful super clean 1995 ZR-1 Corvette Coupe was purchased 8-31-95 and has only been driven 3546 miles. It is #276 of 448 ZR-1 Corvettes produced in 1995. Only 20 Red/Red ZR-1’s were produced in 1995. Always garage kept and well maintained, this gleaming Torch Red body is without a scratch, dent or mark of any kind and comes with a Torch Red and Blue Targa Top. The matching equally clean Torch Red carpeted interior with black dashboard and door panel accents, the dual 6-way red leather driver and passenger sport seats, makes an outstanding eye-popping combination. The Goodyear Eagle GT P275/40 ZR-17 front tires and P315/35 ZR-17 rear tires are mounted on Five Bold Cast Aluminum Alloy Wheels 17x 9.5 front & 17x11 rear. No road rash. The Electronic liquid crystal instrumentation w/ white analog and digital display w/ switchable English to metric is so well designed it looks like an airliner cockpit. Under hood is a 5.7L 405HP SFI DODC 32 Valve V8 engine attached to a (RWD) rear wheel drive gearbox with a 6-Speed Manual Transmission. Dimensions are 178.5:” long x 75.2” wide and 46.5” high with a 9.62” wheelbase.
Want extra power for highway touring, off-road sports or passing? Just turn the “Engine Power Switch Key” (Valet Key) to ‘On’. With the factory installed chip in ‘Normal Mode’ the secondary intake ports are disabled, limiting the engine to about 200 bhp. When the “Engine Power Switch Key” is turned ‘Power Mode - On’, the output rises to 375-380 bhp.

The first thing bought was a set of black Vette floor mats seen in the pictures and the original red Vette mats were stored. Towels have have always been over the black mats and carpeting. The interior is super clean and original mats and carpet never stepped on.
I wanted to drag race against my son in June 1997. I replaced the original Engine Power Switch chip with a special “Power Boost Chip”, a special “Air Intake Module”, and Muffler System designed to handle the extra power. Racing Rear Drag Radial Tires and Rims were installed. After this 3-day one-time event, the original tires and rims were remounted. The other components are currently on the car. The “Engine Power Switch Key” should not be used with the current installed arrangement.
The original muffler system, air intake module, engine power switch chip, and racing wheels and rims are all included with the sales price of the ZR-1.
Documentation:
A complete documentation portfolio of all things concerning the ZR-1 Vette has been maintained and will be given to the new owner.
Maintenance & Repair: (Note: The ZR1 has never been towed. When necessary, the car was moved on a flatbed truck for maintenance and/or repair.) (All maintenance is currently up-to-date and the necessary repairs were made.)
Dec. ‘95 shifting between 3 & 4 gears was ruff. The transmission was replaced by the dealer. In 1997 the Borla 2.75 System ZR1 computer was repaired. The windshield was replaced twice due to delamination. The current windshield is perfect. The battery was replaced in 2010 and 2017. In July 2013 the brakes locked up and the Master Cylinder needed to be replaced. Repairs were made and all is functioning properly now. The original Master Cylinder was saved and is included with the car. I’m told it’s possible that the Master Cylinder may be rebuilt. In Aug. 2017 the driver side window was improperly hitting the top frame when closing. The inside door panel and window seals were replaced and the window now functions. The Blue Targa top has two hair cracks in one corner. I was told that it may also be possible to repair these cracks.
