According the Corvette Black Book there were 1,202 Honduras Maroon Corvettes and 572 were Honduras Maroon with white coves. There were 2,364 283ci / 270hp engines made for that year for all of the Corvettes made in 1960.  I am not sure how many were put in to the Honduras Maroon Corvettes.

Wonderbar radio works, Clock works, Windshield washer (does not work), exterior and interior in incredible condition.  This car has not been restored.  It is in amazing original condition.  With any car this age, some things have been re-done.  The carpet is new Corvette carpet for this year, tach face has been replaced, the fan blade is currently a high air flow blade (I have the original fan blade) , trunk lining replaced with Corvette lining with new lining for 1960 Corvette , and a few other chrome or light covers..

I have had to do very little to this car. It consistently runs with no problems.   The front suspension was replaced by a local private suspension specialty shop to make sure the car was safe and other components were checked at that time, and a small leak at the transmission shaft was repaired by a Muncie Transmission specialist, but other than that, the car has not needed repairs. I will include all the receipts. The receipts will show that the upper outer pivot shaft , front spindle support kits, wheel cylinder front cylinders, and king pin kit were replaced on the front suspension, and the rear bearing, snap ring kit, gear oil changed, entire trans rebuild was done. I have all of the stamped numbers from the case and it indicates the trans is a Muncie 4-speed, 1969, assembled Jan 22, M20 model.

The car was purchased from Mershons in Ohio in 2012.  They make sure everything is in good working order before the car is sold, so things like the turn signals working, gauges, tach, parking brake warning lights, running lights, interior lights, etc. all work.  The windshield washer was an option on this car.  It is still there but it does not work.  I’m sure it could be restored, but it was never important to me, so I didn’t do it.

The body has no dents; the paint is in very good condition with a few small spider cracks in the paint, which is common with fiberglass bodies.  The chrome pieces are there and in good condition.   I kept the original part for any part that was replaced by me. I was told when I purchased the car that they were pretty sure the paint was original, and I have had several avid Corvette fans tell me they think the paint is  orginal, but I cannot verify it.

With the car will come a notebook with all of the information (receipts, etc), a Corvette America 1960 Corvette Assembly Manual, original 1960 Corvette Operations manual (the kind you find in the glove box of a car), Corvette Servicing Guide reproduction, and all of the parts I have saved.

I didn’t want to write a novel about the car, so I kept this ad short.  I will provide any additional information, pictures, or video of a walk around, engine running,  or driving the car.
