Crevier Classic Cars is offering a True "J" code 1971 Ford Mustang Fastback. The car was designed during the peak of horsepower wars of the late 60's and early 70's and this one was made to do one thing, GO Fast! The car is a simple fastback with the 429 Cobra Jet engine and Top loader 4-speed transmission along with the bullet-proof 9" rear diff. Reported that it is one of 56 that came with this engine, one of 38 with the manual transmission, one of 5 that were painted bright red, and this is the only one ever produced in this combination with Red Vermillion seats. This is an original Calfornia car, matching numbers down to the original and impossible to find Barnum Brothers fan shroud. The car retains all orginal sheet metal, floor and trunk pans. The only items that are unoriginal are the headliner and seat covers, which are both NOS replacement parts. The car comes with the rare flip down rear seat. Also it includeds the original space saver rear tire and inflation canister.
