Vehicle Description
The 1965 Harley-Davidson catalog described this M50 Sport Cycle as
"not a toy but a lot more fun" and aimed sales at younger riders by
suggesting it as "a way to come and go as you please without asking
for the family wheels." Manufactured in Italy by Aermacchi, the M50
was H-D's $225 response to the wave of inexpensive scooters and
small motorcycles coming in from Japan. Only marketed for two years
(1965 and 1966), this example has been completely restored to
showroom condition. The 50-cc 2-stroke single cylinder engine
delivers over 100 mpg while its twin mechanical drum brakes assure
safe stops. **SOLD ON BILL OF SALE**
