the very popular 1983 Oldsmobile Cutlass Brougham. This fifth
generation (1978-1988) Cutlass is in truly beautiful condition, as
well it should be with only 35,242 miles on the odometer. That low
mileage shows to advantage not only cosmetically but also
mechanically. The 307 cubic inch Olds V-8 topped with a four barrel
carburetor quietly pumps out smooth, reliable power while the
transmission shifts perfectly. The interior is absolutely flawless,
sporting velour upholstery which was so popular in the 70s and 80s.
The carpeting is in excellent condition. The body is unmarred by
any trace of rust but the doors do have some dimples from people
carelessly opening their doors in parking lots. Regrettably, the
original paint is no longer lustrous due to the Texas sun but is
still in reasonably good condition. The vinyl roof is in very nice
condition with no rips, tears or split seams. Window glass is
perfect all around and the chrome bumpers look like they just came
off the assembly line. Tires are in excellent condition and the
wheels sport those ever-so-popular during the 70s-80s wire wheel
hubcaps. The only options on this Cutlass which do not function are
the cruise control and drivers side power seat. Straight, smooth
