Vehicle Description
Pedigree Motorcars is proud to offer this beautiful 1991 Cadillac
Brougham DElegance. For details and information contact Ken Baker
at 561-866-1601. Regarded as the last of the large traditional
Cadillacs, the 1990 to 1992 Brougham was the last generation of a
bygone era. Few of these cars remain in an original, well preserved
condition. We are proud to offer this magnificent 22,000 mile
example. This 1991 model is well documented and has been lovingly
taken care of throughout its life. We have been on the search for
one of these cars for a couple of years and have never found one
that met our standards. When we heard of this car, we flew to
inspect it. We were very pleasantly surprised to see that it was
exactly as described. This is an all original example with the
exception of the bumper fillers. They have been replaced with
fiberglass ones and fit beautifully. The paint on this Cadillac is
truly magnificent. There are virtually no flaws in it, and it
presents exactly the way it did in 1991. The Antelope Firemist
paint gleams as does all of the chrome and bright work. It really
is a stunning color on this car. The exterior is complemented with
factory optional wire wheel discs. Inside, the DElegance leather
seating color matches the exterior color. The interior of this car
defies the cars age. Literally looks like it did 27 years ago. The
leather has virtually no wear on it and there is no die. The door
panels, dashboard, and steering wheel are all perfect. There is no
cracking, warping, or discoloration anywhere. Literally, other than
very light usage this car shows as new. As with every car from
Pedigree Motorcars, this Cadillac received a thorough inspection
and service prior to us putting it for sale. To get this car ready
we performed: Replace alternator Change of oil and filter Lubricate
front end Flush coolant Change brake fluid Replace antenna motor
and mast Replace parking brake release Replace washer jets module
Charge air conditioner Replace Belts Replace Hoses This Cadillac is
now completely turn key. Everything in it works exactly as it
should. It can be driven daily or on special occasions. It is an
absolute delight to drive. It is smooth, quiet, powerful, and has
that unmistakable Cadillac ride. Not only is this car in
exceptional condition with low miles, has the very rare and highly
desirable 5.7 Liter engine. The 5.7 Liter engine, even though rated
only a little higher than the base 5.0 engine, is nothing in
comparison. It has at least 50 more usable HP and even more torque
than that over the 5.0. It was underrated. The 5.7 liter engine
goes way deeper than the motor. The trans is the HD/Police version
of the 700R4. The Diff is the large Corporate 8.5 vs the little,
(no business in a big car) 7.5 in the 5.0 cars, the suspension is
different, the cooling system is different and there are even more
things that you got for the small price of the 5.7 liter option.
What came with the 5.7 liter option that was not desirable is the
GAS GUZZLER tax that was imposed on the 5.7 optioned cars. GM made
the 5.7 liter option very cost effective compared to the
substantial differences with the 5.7 vs the 5.0, to help offset the
1500 whack the govt. added on the price just for the luxury of
having a car with some good power. Because of that, the majority of
the 90-92 are 5.0 liter cars, making them really not a whole lot
different than the 86-89 versions other than in looks. However, the
5.7 liter versions are not the same offering. This was the only
version of this body style car that had great power, fun driving
characteristics and heavy duty long lasting hardware! It is hard to
find a low mile 5.7 car unless it was slated to be a collector the
day it was bought. We have a copy of the original window sticker
that shows it had a price from Cadillac of $34,861. This car was
specifically ordered with: DElegance leather seating area Locking
wire wheel discs 5.7 L engine Firemist ex...
