For Sale: 1926 Chevrolet Touring in Kentwood, Michigan
GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this wonderful 1926 Chevrolet
Touring car for sale. It features its 271 c.i.d. 26hp inline four
cylinder engine with a manual transmission. The car fires right up
and handles the road as it should. The car spent most of its life
in Oregon and remains in good condition. We took this car out for a
cruise and were happy with the results. It rides on wooden spoke
wheels with 4.5-4.75-21 Firestone tires, with a rear mounted spare.
The car has an aftermarket temperature gauge and a wooden steering
wheel. The body is in good condition and presents itself very well.
The interior and upholstery remain in good condition as well.
Even in the early 1920's the never ending Ford vs. Chevy battle was
around. The 1926 Chevy was further advanced as its competitor, the
Model T. With better suspension and a easier to use, manual
transmission, the Chevrolet was more user friendly. Whichever side
of the fence you fall on, this is a beautiful car that is sure to
leave a smile on your face. Life is too short to drive a boring
car, get behind the wheel of this piece of history and go for a
cruise!
