Vehicle Description
Celebrating the history and evolution of the Camaro, this 45th
Anniversary special edition is a fun to drive convertible packed
with high performance goodies and a unique visual treatment inside
and out. Come on down and get ready for summer. This car will look
good in all those pictures of you having fun in the sun.
As you approach this car, you will notice that the factory started
by dressing this car in beautiful, Carbon Black Metallic paint.
It's a base coat clear coat system that really catches the light,
day or night. Then they designed a unique, asymmetrical hood stripe
that builds on the traditional rally stripes, silver in this case,
and adds a red 45th Anniversary insert. The red insert is carried
through to the stripe on the trunk lid ending up tucked underneath
the rear wing. The grill in the front has an SS emblem indicating
that there is some serious power under that hood, and high
intensity LED halo ring headlights. There are fog lights below the
bumper and 45th anniversary emblems below the Camaro script on the
front fenders. This car looks good with the black convertible top
up, or, at the touch of a button, tucks neatly away for that fun in
the summer look. Deep silver five-spoke wheels pick up on the
metallic in the paint and give the car a solid, muscular
stance.
The interior of this car is Jet Black with leather trimmed seats
and is packed with technology. But when you open the door, the
first thing you notice is the white insert in the door panel. It is
a nice highlight that carries across the top of the dash connecting
with the other door panel and complements the anniversary logos
found on the seats. There is also a discreet logo on the steering
wheel, as well as on the door sill plates and one on the dash.
Comfort and convenience features abound with heated power seats, a
tilt and telescopic steering column with a leather wrapped wheel, a
rear vision package that includes an auto dimming rear view mirror
with camera, and a heads-up display. A sweet set of gauges keeping
tabs on critical engine functions sits in the center console just
in front of the leather wrapped shifter. For your listening
pleasure there is a stereo that is a Bluetooth and iPod compatible,
satellite radio pumping the sound out through premium Boston
Acoustics speakers.
Being an SS means that this anniversary car is powered by a 426 HP,
6.2L, LS3 V8. That's some serious power! Pop the hood and take a
peek. It is all stock and unmolested, but very well maintained with
a neat and clean appearance. There is a truss bar adding some
support to the shock towers, because this car is capable of some
serious cornering forces with the re-tuned shocks and sway bars
front and rear working through those 24545ZR20 tires in the front
and 275/40ZR20s in the rear. The power gets to those tires by
running through a 6-speed automatic transmission, and then a 3.45
limited slip differential and trailing arm independent rear
suspension working through coil springs. Brembo 4-wheel disc brakes
all around are there to make sure that you can haul this car back
down from speed after you cut it loose. The Camaro has come a long
way in 45 years!
Come on down, check it out. You deserve this car for this
summer.
