This is a great car! Very nice paint, nice interior, excellent
running engine and drive-train.
The paint is very nice, no dings, rust bubbles or strange images
visible at all. It's a base/coat, clear/coat application in
Cashmere blue and Snow-crest white, and truly looks excellent.
The engine is a 283 CID that's been rebuilt, although I have no
paperwork for it. It does, however; run great, doesn't smoke, and
has some nice accessories to enhance performance as well as visual
appearance.
The transmission is new, a 3 speed automatic purchased during
the restoration from a company called Monster Motor Sports, and
shifts very nicely.
The interior was treated to a custom tuck and roll style theme and
gives the Chevy a classic period look.
The under carriage, although not detailed, appears original with no
patch panels or rust in the frame, rockers of floors.
The car has a very nice stance, drives nicely, sounds great, and
aside from the inoperable accessories mentioned, it's a sweet '58
Chevy that you can drive anywhere, work on while you use it, and
have a “One year only” body style to cruise around in.
