Here's one that you definitely don't see everyday and it's now up
for sale. This is a 1967 Kaiser Jeep M715 pickup, also known as a
Five Quarter. These were made in Toledo Ohio and were only produced
from 67-69. The M715s saw service in Vietnam, Korean DMZ and
European bases. They were heavy duty 4x4 trucks and mainly used for
cargo and troop careers. They were originally powered by a 6
cylinder overhead cam tornado engine which were great on fuel
consumption but not so much on reliability! Luckily this particular
one has had some upgrades to the engine compartment. It's now
powered by a 350 Chevy small block. This particular engine was just
gone through to the tune of $4,509 in parts and labor. Some of the
work that was done to the engine was forged pistons being added,
main bearing, rod bearing, ring set, machine clean and resurfaced
heads, gaskets, fuel lines, 2 batteries, new fabricated fuel tank
installed, MSD ignition kit, and other misc parts. This ex-army
truck runs and sounds incredible and is ready for the next owner to
enjoy. Whether you're looking for something different to cruise
around in, off road, or looking for a rowdy hunting vehicle here it
is! Like I said earlier, you won't see one of these everyday and
it's definitely a head turner. This one still appears to be very
solid and ready for what you're going to throw at it. If you would
