Vehicle Description
Iconic looks hide the modern 400+hp fuel-injected V8 power, fully
modified sports suspension, and A/C comfort. So this 1966 Ford
Mustang Coyote Restomod is that perfect mix of style and substance
for someone who wants it all and wants it ready today.
This one is a bit of a sleeper in its first impression. After all,
Tahoe Turquoise is a great 1966-correct color. So this one is about
subtly attracting Mustang fans rather than screaming about the
performance underneath the skin. In fact, the black rocker stripe
and black vinyl roof are just great pieces that tell the world you
have a well-coordinated classic. And not everyone immediately spots
well-integrated pieces like the upgraded headlights or the
Mag-style wheels that are really larger 17-inch units by Wheel
Vintiques. So some people might not know how special this is until
it passes them faster than a '66 has ever before (more on that in a
moment.)
Inside this one has all the right premium touches. It starts with a
two-tone blue interior that coordinates nicely with the exterior
paint. Ford's Comfort-Weave inserts give the buckets a sporty look,
while remaining comfortable enough for long-distance cruising. And
this one is even great for family and friends with comfortable
features like R134a air conditioning and the retro-style AM/FM
stereo with digital tuner and aux input. This connects to the
custom subwoofer stereo system. But as you slip behind the classic
Mustang three-spoke steering wheel, you're going to get the
unmistakable tingle of performance. The upgraded gauges by Dakota
Digital provides a full readout package, including tach. And the
B&M Quicksilver shifter is professional grade.
While this classic Mustang has been subtly upgraded so far, there
is no hiding the amazing beast lurking in the engine bay. You're
looking at the fuel-injected 5.0-liter Coyote V8 out of a 2012
Mustang GT. With four cams, 32-valves, 5.0-liters, and 412
horsepower, this is one of the best modern motors of our time. And
while people will marvel at the big power in the engine bay, don't
forget to notice the detail work that makes this so great. The
custom motor mounts, air intake, aluminum radiator, and other
supporting components are tidy and professional so that you can't
tell the decades of difference between the vintage body and the
modern motor. Of course, it also looks so clean because there's
less than 270 miles on this project since completion. The moment
you turn the key, the header-fed dual exhaust growls to life with a
sound that tells people you have something special under the hood.
But don't just listen to this; follow the path in the undercarriage
photos. There you'll also see fresh upgrades like the Mustang
II-style front suspension w/tubular A-arms, thick front sway bar,
new urethane bushings, and a strong Mosler 9-inch rear. Plus, at
each wheel, you'll find QA1 adjustable coilovers and Wilwood disc
brakes. This is a great total package for performance driving or
easy cruising. And features like the six-speed automatic
transmission and limited-slip rear end are there to ensure you can
switch between these two personalities with ease.
This is the recently-competed complete custom build you've been
waiting for. So hurry up on this deal, because your dream restomod
Mustang may never come up for grabs again. Call today!!!
