Corvette T-Top Survivor.If you are a fan of our classics site you
know we have a soft spot in our collecting for original, survivor
type cars. Sure, we like the fresh, pretty paint restored cars but
there's something about a car that's just the way the factory built
it back in the day. That's the case with this beautifully patina'd
(think I just created a new word there) sports car.Having travelled
just 11,651 miles from new this car was obviously stored properly
for a long slumber. All the systems have been gone through and we
have pronounced this old boy ready to rumble. The original paint
shows very nicely with minor imperfections and some minor touch up
here and there but were betting the paint is mostly original. The
bright blue metallic on the 76 Corvettes was always one of the
all-time favorite colors....Inside you will find a wonderful
original interior including very nice black leather bucket seats,
power windows, factory air conditioning (yep it works), the tilt
and telescopic wheel that makes these cars a good bit nicer to
drive, power steering and brakes and motivated down the road by its
numbers matching original L-48 engine.Solid underneath and in the
engine compartment as you'd expect for a little used car this car
is ready to enjoy for years to come. Everything functions as it
should and this old Vette goes down the road just like it did back
in the day. Still riding on its original tires, we will leave the
option of replace to drive or keep to show for the next
caretaker.Drive it, show it, keep it in a bubble and polish it as a
