Vehicle Description
Sunnyside Chevrolet of Elyria, Ohio in conjunction with Greg's
Sports, Classic, & Muscle is honored to have this 1964 Corvette.
WOW.In this day of barn finds, survivors, unrestored classics never
before discovered, time warp and dusty crusty antique
unpronounceable car shaped metal forms comes forth this
discovery.Greg tirelessly scours the country, for that matter
"world" to offer his favorite car aficionado's new and exciting
finds, this is such a car. From the beautiful back evergreen
covered hills and lush lake laden land of northern Canada comes
this exciting find, a 1964 Chevrolet Corvette L-76 365 hp numbers
matching, four speed Muncie transmission, radio delete
rarity.Originally a rare factory black car with black interior, the
custom paint artist, Ken Kay laid lavishly lavender lacquer paint
with hints and clashes of pink, white, blue and black custom
schemes of spider webbing, fades and pinstripes. Painted in the
early 1970'S, a great example painted by Ken Kay, a Canadian custom
car painter. He has quite a reputation for award winning custom
paint and design. This car survived the 80's, 90's and 2000's
without being repainted. All the previous owners knew what we are
discovering now, the importance of preserving and protecting a
slice of time for posterity. That is this car.A chip here or
lacquer checking there caused many if not most of the custom paint
jobs of the 60's and 70's to be put under primer or new paint,
never to be seen again, what a shame. This car survived too cool to
uncool to where did it all go. Stop in to enjoy this and all of our
carsAdditional photos and video available upon request. Please call
