Cruisin Classics would like to introduce a Classic from the 40's
that was a hit then and still turns heads today. Introducing a 1948
Chevrolet Panel Van. This great runner is painted in Yellow and
will catch the attention of everybody that is in sight of it. The
two "panels" have different businesses to boast. One is advertising
an orchard and the other side a dairy. Each with their own vinyl
artwork. The paint is in great shape and will place at your local
car show or just cruising around town advertising your business as
the vinyl decals currently on it can probably be taken off by
somebody "in-the-know". Also easy on the eyes are the tread filled
Discovery Tires that are matched with a GM Aluminum 8-lug rim.
There is also a tow package just in case you need to hook-up. The
curves of the body, the running boards, the grill, the hood and
just the overall jumbo sized everything, takes you back to an era
of good times, excess and luxury.The drivetrain consists of a 235
cubic inch "Stovebolt 6", aka, "The Cast Iron Wonder" engine
matched with a manual 4 speed transmission. Engine (7038378 block
3836848 from top)= 1958, 235ci for trucks. Inside the cab is a pull
out manual choke for the engine. We have not had any issues at all
in the starting of the engine.The transmission is a newer Gear
Venders Under and Overdrive. Flip the switch (dash mounted) on the
freeway and get the benefit of lower RPM's at a higher speed which
is not only good for you but great for the engine. The rear end is
a stock 10 bolt GM.Inside you will find bucket seats with electric
lumbar control, a center console with storage and cup holders,
split window windshield, working gauges, aftermarket AM/FM radio
with USB connection and a completely custom built cargo area. There
are pictures of extra and original parts to the '48 that are in
boxes that go with the sale of the vehicle.If you have any
