Completing production on 11/21/1997 and highly optioned from the
factory, this is an excellent example of a low mileage, matching
numbers, black on black 993 C2S.
Spec'd options from Porsche included: A full leather interior,
heated seats, partial power racing sports seats with carbon fiber
backing, limited slip differential with active brake differential,
carbon fiber and aluminum shift lever and hand brake lever,
aluminum instrument dials, metal door sill with insignia, oval
chrome exhaust tips, motor sound package, rear wiper, automatic
speed control, power sunroof and mirrors, and Porsche's C-210
cassette AM/FM radio with 6-disc changer.
Arriving at Canepa for the first time in 2013 with only 14,503
miles, the C2S was noted as being in stellar original condition and
treated a concourse-level detailing. It then received a 100-point
inspection and an oil and belt service before being sold to its new
owner.
Respecting the low mileage and collectability of the C2S, the new
owner would add only a little over 600 miles in his 4-year
ownership, keeping the 993 in pristine condition. The Porsche would
then come back to Canepa in March of 2018, looking as good as it
did when it originally left. The 993 was cleaned by hand from front
to back, and the black paint was lightly polished with only foam
pads and polish.
Now this stunning example of a C2S, with its host of options,
matching numbers, and excellent color combination is ready for its
next owner to enjoy pure and simple Porsche driving pleasure, and
the last of the air-cooled 911s.

The Porsche 911 series 993 were built from 1995 to 1998, and are
the last of the air-cooled 911s. The Carrera S (C2S), built only in
1997 and 1998, is the most highly sought after version of the
Porsche 993. With its factory Turbo wide body and the Carrera's
normally aspirated engine, the C2S was a pure sports cars without
the complication and weight of turbocharging and all-wheel drive.
The driving experience is second to none, with great torque,
lighter weight, and Turbo handling lending itself to amazing
drivability. Featuring a unique 'split' electric spoiler that
harkens back to the original Carrera 2 twin grille, only 993 C2S's
were sold in the US in 1998 making this a very rare late model
Porsche.
