Vehicle Description
1960 was the last year for several iconic styling features onthe
corvette. It was the last year that the front grill had the
vertical chromed "teeth". In the rear of the car it was the last
year for the rounded rear fenders with the built in tail lights,
and the last year that the exhaust pipes exited through the rear
bumpers. These last year styling features have made this year
Corvette very desirable among those who want first generation
corvettes. With only 10,261 Corvettes built by Chevrolet for the
1960 model year, it is getting more difficult to find good examples
that have survived and left in factory stock configuration. This
classic Ermine white/red interior/silver coves car is a nice
example of a 1960 Corvette that has been maintained in stock form.
It has its numbers matching 283 V8 with 270 horsepower, dual 4
barrel carburetors, backed up to a 4 speed manual transmission. The
Ermine White paint shows nicely with a few minor stress lines
present. All of the chrome trim looks very good. The red vinyl
interior is in very nice condition with working original
instrumentation and the wonder bar radio. The white vinyl soft top
is older but shows well with no tears or holes. The back window is
clear. This C1 has wide whitewall radial tires for the vintage look
and contemporary driveabilty. For further information please call
