Nice, All steel, 1936 Fordor 4 door Sedan. Selling for local gentleman who bought it at car show last Summer but he has too many toys. Previous owner from North Carolina owned it 10 years and it was painted prior to him in a flat black. The body is really nice, very straight with no rust or sign of rust repair. Original Suicide doors function great and line up really nicely. The car was painted about 15 years ago so there are some imperfections and a few small spots on the rear trunk area where the paint has popped but overall has very cool rat rod look. It is begging for some old school pin-striping and I have a great local guy who could do that. Glass is overall in very nice condition with some patina and the drivers door glass does have a crack in it. Overall this is a very solid '36 ready to drive and enjoy or can be taken to the next level.
Interior was completely redone in original styling and looks great. Everything from the front and rear seats, all door panels, headliner, rear foot rests, and carpeting look great! Aftermarket steering column with working turn signals and wipers. Automatic shifter on the floor. Door handle and window crank hardware looks original. Nice set of gauges in the dash all work. Electric wiper motor. The interior is very impressive.
Under the hood is a 5.0 Fuel injected V8 mated to an automatic transmission. The current owner was told the motor is from a 1988 Mustang GT and it fires right up and runs strong. Front clip is believed to be a Mustang II with power steering. Power 4 wheel disc brakes. It appears that someone started to put A/C in the car but did not finish the install but should not take much to have functioning cold A/C for the summer. Nice tone from the dual exhaust. Nice set of Wire wheels and tires with plenty of meat left on them. This '36 Runs and drives very nicely. This would be a great car to take to the next level or just add your touches and drive and enjoy it the way it is. Unfortunately the current owner did not have too much information on the build but he has put about 300 miles on it since he owned it and it has been very reliable.
