Vehicle Description
1984 Chevrolet S10 Custom
Looking to get into a street rod at a reasonable price and have
some fun? This is the truck for you! Totally custom and totally
fast! This 1984 Chevy Blazer has gone through an extensive cosmetic
and performance restoration and is ready to hit the pavement. Every
dollar over $18,900.00 goes to the Dreambuilder's Car Show
benefiting Big Brothers Big Sisters (www.dreambuilderscarshow.com)
and is fully tax deductible. The truck is powered by a ZZ-4 350ci
General Motors crate motor pulling approximately 350 horsepower
that flows to the ground through a 700-R4 automatic transmission
with stall convertor built by Monster. Both have less than 1000
miles on them since the build and it runs/shifts great. Cooling
comes from a Corvette radiator outfitted with 2 10? V/Control
radiator fans and the exhaust is a custom, dual set-up coming out
of a set of Sanderson headers. It sits on a modified suspension
over 16? IROC wheels (painted to match the corresponding body
paint) and like-new Z-rated Goodyear high performance tires.
The exterior is complete custom in a three-tone scheme of cream,
light blue and dark teal with a spoiler on the rear. The hood has
been customized with precision cuts and looks great from every
angle. The bumpers are modified to flow with the body creating a
clean look that accentuates the paint job. An easy to remove,
lightweight targa top has been cut into the roof and the doors have
been modified to allow a clean, uninterrupted look. It should be
noted that the locks on the doors were disabled when the new hidden
latches were installed and need to be re-connected. Other than
that, all doors, hatches, hood, etc. work like they should. The
rear hatch does lock. The truck has less than 1,000 miles on it
since completion and a modest 126,000 on the chassis.
The interior is very clean with front bucket seats and is done in
grey with color accent striping. There are no rips or tears in the
upholstery or the dash. The truck sports a full gauge package
(temperature gauge not functioning properly), cruise control and is
equipped with factory air. The air conditioning needs to be
finished but all of the hoses and parts are included with the
vehicle. It has a great Sony sound system with AM/FM/CD/Bluetooth
and a full speaker set-up complete with two 12? sub-woofers in a
custom, carpeted box in the rear. The truck comes with a packet
full of build receipts and pictures to go with them.
All in all, this is a tremendous amount of street rod and power for
only $19,900.00!
It is rare to find a truck with this much customization for less
than $20,000.00. Don't wait...it won't last long!
