Vehicle Description
This 442 received a 10-year, full frame-off restoration. There were
no shortcuts on this painstaking effort. Most trim parts are NOS or
the finest restored originals. Even the hardware and brackets were
harvested from original Arizona cars. This heavily optioned car is
turnkey and reliable, as well as show- or cruise-ready. It has been
upgraded to Autumn Bronze with Parchment Pearl bucket interior.
Very well-optioned, it features headrests and first-year AM/FM
radio that looks and works great, with power antenna. It's also
equipped with power windows, black convertible top, Soft Ray glass,
power brakes and power steering. The upgraded 4-speed wide-ratio
manual transmission has been rebuilt with console and performance
gauges. The correct 400ci engine was built with modern function,
reliability and stock appearance. For example, it has a Pertronix,
under-the-cap ignition set-up with internally regulated alternator.
It looks absolutely correct, but has significantly improved
reliability and performance. Riding on 14" SS1s with Diamondback
red lines, this car is loaded with NOS parts collected since 1990
from Fusick automotive. It comes with a large box of receipts. A
real show-winner, recognition includes the 2015 Best in Class at
the New England Olds Show, Favorite Muscle Car at Hemmings Cruise
in Vermont 2008, Favorite Olds at Hemmings Muscle Palooza at
Lebanon Valley Dragway 2008, Best of Show at GMO (the Massachusetts
chapter of OCA) 2008 and Southbury Training School Show 2009 Best
of Class. In 2008, it attended invitation-only Hemmings Concours in
Stratton, VT. From the John Staluppi Cars of Dreams Collection.
