Vehicle Description
This 1949 GMC 5-window, half-ton pickup has the deluxe cab option
with the chrome windshield trim. It has a 228ci, 6-cylinder engine
made by Pontiac, along with a 3-on-the-tree manual transmission. In
2013 it underwent a frame-off restoration. The interior is
spotless, with new panels in the doors and cab roof. Radio delete
option, 12-volt system and tachometer. Original heater with a
discreet small tach under the dash for safety. The instrument
cluster has been completely refurbished to like-new. The cab
exterior and body have been done to a high standard, along with the
beautiful wood bed and chrome retainers. In 2015 brakes were
rebuilt and the entire drivetrain was redone, which included engine
bearings, seals and gaskets and also a new clutch. U-joints and
torque tube were also redone, and a 3:55 rear was swapped into the
existing casing. New Coker tires ensure a smooth ride.
