Vehicle Description
This car is awesome! 1,000 horsepower show car that is built to
drive. It will turn heads and snap necks. It is a multiple national
show winner. Pull into a cruise night with the exhaust rumbling and
the blower whistling and I assure you that you will feel like the
world's coolest person.
The Story: We have it's original invoice and title. It was a 3
owner Tennessee car with 71,000 miles. Then it was decided to build
it into an ISCA show car. It was only worked on by professionals
from around the country.
Exterior: Body was shipped to Florida where it was stripped down to
a bare shell, put in a jig and the body was perfectly aligned. It
was then painted far better than it ever was when it was new. All
of the chrome and stainless has been restored to show quality. The
grill, glass, rubber is mint. New white stripes and chrome pop up
gas cap. The wheels make it look like a Hot Wheels car. In back
they are monster 20x15 inch wide, in front are 18x8.
Interior: restored from carpet to headliner using original
upholstery. It has upgraded white face Phantom gauges, pistol grip
shifter, mint condition cushion grip wheel and a killer stereo
system. Has 4 6x9 speakers, 2 subs and an amp.
Trunk: it is boxed and upholstered and proudly displays the amp and
subs.
Motor compartment: painted gloss blue body color. Under the hood is
even pinstriped. The obvious center of attention is the giant
polished blower, has polished belt gaurd.
Underside: clean, all metal. Rear wheel wells were made 2 1/2
bigger, interior was not affected. Rear frame rails were moved in 3
inches. Welded in frame rails connect the front and back for
rigidity. It went from a unibody to a full frame car.
Mechanicals: the big block 440 sticking out of the hood was
performance built. It was later taken to speed legend Dennis
"Hollywood" Zainfield and dialed in from carbs to pan. Dennis built
and operates a 400 mph salt flat car! He has it set up to start
instantly and rev instantly. He dyno tuned it at 740 hp at the rear
wheels, this equates to about 1,000 hp at the flywheel. It is 8.2:1
compression so it runs on pump gas just fine. The polished blower
is a 6-71 with dual Holley double pumpers. Has MSD ignition system.
Aluminum waterpump and radiator, electric fan keeps it running
cool. Has a Hemi 833 4-speed. The rear is a narrowed Dana 60 with
highway friendly 3.54 gears. In back is a 3 link ladder bar system
with coil over shocks. There are Wilwood 4 piston disc brakes at
all 4 corners. Has a 3 inch TTI exhaust with stainless mufflers. As
if it's not loud enough, it has an electric dump too. Has new
wiring front to back.
Provenance: has been featured in Mopar's collector guide. It has
won several national awards from Florida to Ohio including Chrysler
at Carlisle (7 times), Mopars at the rock, Mopar Mania, Mopar
Madness, Mopars with Big Daddy, Chrysler Classic events, Mopar
World Finals (won extreme modified champion) and the Good Guys
Southeast Nationals staff pick.
Conclusion: Camaros and Mustangs are everywhere, don't you want to
steal their thunder? This car is pure adrenaline!
