Up for sale in our Tampa showroom is this stunning 1969 F40 Red
Chevrolet C10 Resto-Mod. As you can see from the pictures this
gorgeous C10 has been restored from the ground up. Starting with:
RideTech Air Ride on all four corners, monstrous Willwood brake
system, slotted and cross drilled rotors up front, slotted rotors
in the back, six piston front calipers, four piston rears. You'll
be glad to have those massive brakes when you let loose all the
horses of the 434 CID Custom Dart V8. With only 700 miles on the
motor since the build. Backed by a four speed 700R4 automatic
transmission, linked up to a 12-bolt 3.73 rear end. Hop inside this
beautiful second gen. C10 and you'll notice the custom work
continues with the bench seat and the Velocity gauges. Originally a
327 CID V8 engine was dropped in 1969 in favor of the 350 CID
variant rated at 255 gross HP. Along with the new engines came a
new grille design for Chevrolet trucks and a more upright hood for
both Chevrolet and GMC trucks. A utility variant, known as the K5
Blazer, was also introduced with a shorter wheelbase of 104 inches.
The GMC version, known as the Jimmy, was introduced the same year.
Some internal cab changes were also made, most notably the switch
from a hand-operated parking brake to a foot pedal, and a more
modern looking two-spoke steering wheel with plastic horn button
replaced the previous year's three-spoke wheel with chrome horn
button. Also new this year were upper and lower side moldings,
which added another two-tone paint option. These were standard on
CST trucks, and optional in any other trim level. To see 100+ HD
