Vehicle Description
History
The Ford Mustang is an American car manufactured by Ford. It was
originally based on the platform of the second generation North
American Ford Falcon, a compact car.
The first-generation Ford Mustang was manufactured by Ford from
March 1964 until 1973. The introduction of the Mustang created a
new class of automobile known as the pony car. The Mustang's
styling, with its long hood and short deck, proved wildly popular
and inspired a host of competition.

This Mustang has an original 289 V8 engine in a very original
engine compartment that looks just as it did off the show room
floor. It carries the blue engine paint with chrome valve covers,
air conditioner, and all the factory air cleaner and other parts.
It has the original automatic transmission with a floor
shifter.
Interior
This Mustang was the first incorporate three-point lap and shoulder
belts as opposed to the standard lap belts. The air-conditioning
option was fully integrated into the dash, the speakers.
The convenience group with four warning lights for low fuel, seat
belt reminder, parking brake not released, and door ajar were added
to the instrument panel. Changes for the 1968 model increased
safety with a two-spoke energy-absorbing steering wheel, along with
newly introduced shoulder belts.
The red leather bucket seat interior with red floor carpeting
compliments the red and chrome dash that houses all the factory
gauges and stereo radio system.
