New to our Pleasanton showroom is this highly impressive 1970
Oldsmobile Cutlass /442 Tribute 2 Door Convertible with blue
exterior paint, gold striping/badging, a gold vinyl interior and a
power cloth top. �You'll find a professionally built 455 cid V-8
engine under the hood with aluminum heads and intake, an Edelbrock
carburetor, Hooker headers, an upgraded B&M automatic
transmission, a powder coated chassis, and a highly upgraded
suspension. �You'll also find power steering, power disc brakes,
cold air conditioning and so much more- this classic muscle car is
a sight to behold in person and its lightning fast on the open
road.
Six-Year Complete Restoration from 2008 to 2014 �
This 1970 Oldsmobile 442 Convertible Tribute started its life as a
Cutlass Roadster in California. �The second owner enjoyed this
classic up until 1987 when the current owner took possession of
this amazing muscle car. �For almost 20 years he enjoyed it as an
average driver until deciding to turn it into something special in
2008. �That's when this beauty was stripped down to bare metal and
then completely overhauled from the ground up. �Everything from the
undercarriage to the suspension to the drivetrain and the interior
were stripped down, restored/replaced and then reinstalled.�
No expense was spared in this very high end build and the complete
restoration took almost 8 years from start to finish. �We have
ample receipts on file documenting the build and everything that
went into this spectacular classic vehicle.
In terms of its present condition, this 1970 Oldsmobile Cutlass
/442 Tribute shows nicely with a brand new soft top from Legendary
Interiors, above average exterior paint and a beautiful flowing
body with very nice metal/chrome work. �The gold pin striping on
the side skirts and the cowl hood really stands out as well and
almost perfectly matches the reupholstered interior. �There are
minimal signs of cosmetic wear to be found but nothing that really
detracts from the overall beauty and performance of this legendary
muscle car. �With over 500 horsepower and ft. /lbs. of torque, you
won't find a more exciting, well-built example.
