What we have here is a beautiful 1965 Ford Galaxie 500 XL with one of the coolest original color schemes that I have seen; Metallic Green, with solid white interior. How friggin cool is that? It is factory correct color codes. With all new interior, new upholstery, new carpet, and new door panels, this amazing Mid 60s Muscle is as cool as it gets. Bucket seats and a chrome center console make this car, everything that is right about Mid 60s cool. Originally powered by a 352, this tough machine is now powered by a fresh 390 big block V8 that runs and drives great. Everything seems to work as expected. These 1965 -66 Galaxies, have always been a big favorite of ours at Hall Truck and Auto, and add to that the fact that this is a very hard to find XL model, makes this a great find. The very distinct and awesome lines on this 1965 Ford are why these cars are becoming very collectable, and very hard to find in this condition. There was no rust found on this car, before we had it painted in original Metallic green and clear coat. The body on this beauty is very straight.
