Chassis number 10063 is undoubtedly one of the finest 275 GTB/4s
and has an impeccable history and enviable attributes. Firstly as
documented by the Ferrari factory Classiche department it is one of
just two four cams originally delivered in the stunning color
combination of a black exterior (Nero 20 B 50) and also black
leather interior (Pelle Nera VM 8500). Completed at the Maranello
factory in June 1967 and sold the following month through the
official Rome dealer Motor S.a.s. di Carla Alegretti et C. to the
famed Italian pop star and actor known as Little Tony, (born
Antonio Ciacci) resident in San Marino, Italy. This was not his
first Ferrari as he had previously owned a 250 GT California
Spider. In January, 1968 for the sum of 4.1 million lire it was
acquired by Erminio Merlo of Milan and factory service records at
Modena in August recorded the mileage at 16,072 miles. In October
the car sold again this time passing to a Livorno based concern
called Societ Manutenzione Industriali Generali. In early 1971 the
four-cam was exported to the USA and before long was re-painted red
with tan leather upholstery. By the late 70s the car was owned by
Jake Weaver from Jackson, MS and the mileage was at 17,000 miles.
In 1980 Neal Shevin from Evanston, IL was the owner he kept the car
for the next 27 years before selling it in 2007 (with less than
22,000 miles) and shortly after ended up with Alexander Bize, a
Manhattan based clothing executive and former business partner of
Jay-Z. In early 2011 the car traded hands, with a mileage of 23,735
miles and passed to the owner of a well-known California Ferrari
dealership, it underwent the Ferrari Classiche authentication
process and then was subject to a bare metal, concours quality,
restoration to return it to its original color scheme. In August
2014, this stunning automobile passed through a California auction
house and was purchased by our parent company JD Classics and later
offered for sale from the Mayfair, London showroom. The current
owner acquired the 275 GTB/4 in November, 2015 and commissioned JD
Classics workshops to service the car, remove the bumpers and
install headrests before re-importing to California. More recent
service and maintenance work has been performed by renowned Ferrari
mechanic, Patrick Ottis, in Berkeley, CA with one minor
modification being the lowering and stabilizing of the driver's
seat at the farthest point to accommodate more comfortably a tall
driver. Naturally the seat modification could be reversed and the
original bumpers come with the car along with the Classiche red
book a very complete tool roll and owner's manuals. Mileage today
reads 24,622 miles from new and it drives every bit as well as it
looks
