GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this 2003/1953 Commemorative
Corvette for sale. It was built on a 1998 C5 base and is title as a
1998 Corvette. This car is number 11 out of only 200 believed to be
produced. The car is painted in a stunning white pearl over a red
and white interior with a light oak convertible top. It is powered
by a345hp LS1 and it is a blast to drive. The car handles and
shifts as it should. These cars were engineered in 2003 by Magna
Steyr to commemorate Corvette's 50th year anniversary and were
produced by Advanced Automotive Technologies. With the exception of
the doors, the body is all new and was directly inspired by the
iconic 1953 Corvette. The shark tooth grille and chrome bumpers
accent the car incredibly well. The headlights are to a 1995-1997
Porsche 911 complete with classic Porsche 356 mesh grilles along
with custom LED taillights. Along with the car comes an extra set
of custom floor mats featuring the 1953 Commemorative Edition
Silhouette. The car features the Z06 style red brake calipers. The
underside of the hood has been signed by Dollie Cole(widower of Ed
Cole, former president of GM, Chief Engineer for Chevrolet, and
considered to be the father of the small block Chevrolet V8
engine), Dick Guldstrand, and Steve Pasteiner (owner of AAT).
Features include Memory package, dual zone electronic climate
control, Bose CD stereo, dual power sport seats, active handling,
automatic transmission, chrome wheels, HID headlights, keyless
entry, fog lamps, power windows, power locks, power steering, power
brakes, power mirrors, power antenna, cruise control, ABS, traction
control and more. This car has spent the last few years of its life
in a private collection where it sat inside in a heated
environment. This car is the best of both worlds and will certainly
turn heads.
