Vehicle Description
Offered here is a rare 1968 Chrysler 300 Convertible. This is one
of only 2,161 built in 1968. Our client has owned the car since
1998, purchasing it from his friend who owned it for decades prior.
The car has an older restoration, finished in 1990, which is why it
is priced the way it is: a driver. It was originally painted gold,
but red suited the previous owner better, so it was finished in
Flamenco Red, a 1966 Cadillac color. The contrast over the white
interior and power folding white soft top looks right for this kind
of car. The power top and hide-a-way lights still work.
The car is powered by a rebuilt 440 V8 with an automatic
transmission and rear-wheel drive. The car has power steering,
power brakes, and newer white wall tires. It has an upgraded cam
and intake, new carb, new master cylinder, and new rear floors. It
also comes with a lot of extra parts, such as a grill, doors, trunk
lid, fender spears, etc. The car remains highly original, expect
for the paint color and aftermarket CD deck. The interior is all
original and in great shaped considering the car is now 50 years
old. This is a turn-key ready cruiser, and a rare one at that.
You're likely to be the only one at the cruise-in that has one. Be
sure to check out all the photos and video on our main website:
