1966 Chevrolet Corvette BIG BLOCK 427 in Wallingford, Connecticut
1966 was the first year for the�427ci�Big Block. This 66' Corvette
is two owner California unrestored Survivor. This car was owned by
two previous owners before being purchased by its current
collectors. The previous owner was a Chevrolet dealer that had kept
the car in his possession since 1975 while only putting on 1,300
miles on the car during that period. This is a perfect candidate
for any survivor or preservation judging, especially the
"Preservation Class" at Pebble Beach. This car has a guaranteed
"Original" motor and�driveline, and original trim and vin tags. The
Original Motor has been verified by Kevin Mackay of Corvette
Repair. This car is a true "Unrestored" survivor with 42,000
original documented miles. Recent Service and judging. CERTIFIED
ORIGINAL OEM MOTOR,�DRIVELINE, TRIM AND VIN TAGS. If you look
closely this is a great example of an original car. You can see the
inspection marks on some of the suspension components, the masking
tape on the frame. The original�weatherstriping�and glue are great
examples of what originality is. This car was recently judged at
Bloomington Gold in 2016.
