Offered from a prominent private collectionVery rare; one of only
1,049 produced and very few known survivorsExcellent, high-quality
restoration in striking original colorsNumerous correct factory
options and accessories
Very few Chrysler New Yorker convertibles were made in 1957; the
figure has been listed as only 1,049 examples, and they are
obviously even rarer to see on the roads today.
The example here is unquestionably one of the nicest that will be
available. It received a no-expense-spared, six-year restoration
from a prior owner and is reported as being better than new,
including its factory Sahara Blue color scheme. It is equipped with
power steering, power brakes, wheel opening moldings, radio with
rear speaker, dual antennas, FirePower Chrysler V-8 with a
four-barrel carburetor, and all correct detailing in the engine
bay.
Nineteen fifty-seven New Yorker Convertibles are exceptionally
rare, and to find one in pristine condition is even more unusual.
This high-quality example is ready for proud exhibition on the show
circuit.
