This is a very nice 1969 Buick Electra 225. This vehicle has 101,500 original miles. It has been well maintained and stored out of the elements.
This vehicle features the 430 Wildcat V8 motor, which had a factory rating of 360 HP and 465 lb-ft of torque. This motor runs nice and smooth, with no smoke. This vehicle was previously set up to run on propane, so the internals of the motor are significantly cleaner than a regular car of this era. (The motor has been changed back over to run on gasoline).
The car starts easy and runs great. The transmission is a three speed automatic that shifts very nice. The suspension is good. The tires are in very good condition.
This car has many new parts including:
Spark plugs and wires
Alternator
Brake master cylinder
Brake booster
Front brake shoes
Front wheel cylinders
Power steering pump and hoses
Rebuilt starter
The body of the car is in very good condition. The metal is straight and the chrome is in good shape. The top is in excellent condition. The glass is all good. There are some paint blemishes and some discoloration on the hood, but the paint still looks nice. The car has no major body rust and no major frame rust. There is some minor surface rust near one side of the top, and on the tops of the rear fins, (see pictures) but nothing is rusted through on the body or frame.
All the lights work.
This is a great, rare historic vehicle that is not modified. It is ready to drive.
