Gorgeous red metallic paint, All Chrome and stainless including bumpers, headlight surrounds, door handles, and all other trim replaced with new reproduction parts. Original hard to find stainless Parts such as the molding surrounding the convertible top were sent off to be professionally polished. Perfect black convertible top, Fully restored original style black interior including all upholstery, carpets, door panels, seals, felts, knobs, hardware, etc. New replacement Hearst 4 speed floor shift, Fully rebuilt Muncie M21 transmission, Heavy duty clutch ,1969 370 HP Pontiac 428 with gobs of neck snapping torque very quick! and a correct 1966 Pontiac tripower setup. All suspension upgraded to heavy duty including ball joints, springs, bushings, big sway bars, gas shocks, fully boxed control arm's and excellent Goodyear Eagle GT tires not the crappy no name tires found on so many other cars. Many muscle car owners don't appreciate how much of a difference quality Tires really make. It handles great and corners flat! Completely rebuilt 3.55 rear end including ring and pinion, posi unit, bearings, seals, etc. Runs drive's and looks truly outstanding it is a gorgeous automobile that is fun and very dependable. The serial number of this very clean rust free body and frame indicates it started out as a lemans however other than the serial number it looks as good or better than almost any other GTO and drive's better than most ! I have owned this excellent car for over 15 years and I have maintained and cared for it with exceptional rigor and detail and I have the receipts to prove it. Of course everything works as it should. I did not build this car to flip it or resell it I built this car for myself to enjoy and show off! It has won first place at different local car shows over the years and even second place at a Pontiac GTO Regional meet and I have the trophies and plaques to prove that too. I am selling because it is time for something new as I really only have room for one special car anymore. I am not greedy nor am I desperate I believe my pricing is very reasonable and fair This is not a numbers matching car if it was I would be asking double the price however if you are looking for a fast fun quality muscle car this is it! if anyone can find a nicer one or any 4 speed, convertible, true muscle car of similar quality and beauty for less money they better buy it!!!!
