It's not everyday you see a newer version of a car that was introduced in 1967, but the legendary Volkswagen T2 was still being produced until 1994 in Mexico, and up to 2013 in Brazil. This 1992 VW T2 is quite special in that it is known as the T2c. It features a much more modern water cooled 1.8L carbureted inline 4 cylinder engine. The engine had an output of 71hp, which was on par with the older air cooled engines. Other changed include a revised dashboard and a large front mounted radiator as well as a 3.9in higher roof. Known worldwide as the T2 and often called Kombi, Transporter, Bus, Camper, in individual markets, these are known as Caravelle in Mexico.

Freshly imported from Mexico City by the current owner and his brother in law, this VW is one of just a handful in the United States. All the hard work of importing and transporting the vehicle has been taken care of. The owner and his brother in law actually drove the vehicle all the way from Mexico. The vehicle is perfectly road legal and comes with a Bill of Sale, Mexican Title, Michigan Title, and all of the importation documents. Being a late model production, this vehicle is in very good shape. Overall the light blue body is straight and free of major imperfections and the black plastic and rubber trim is solid as well. BFGoodrich tires are mounted on factory steel wheels with the original trim. The interior of this vehicle is quite nice and features seating for 7 passengers. While a bit hard, the seats are in great shape and have very little wear. The dash is crack free, the headliner doesn't sag, and all of the glass is in great shape. The interior lighting works and the blower motor sounds strong as well.

While far from a trailer queen, this Bus is in excellent shape overall and is a very solid runner. The current owner and his brother in law even drove the thing themselves from Mexico! Featuring a more modern engine mated to a 4-speed manual, this bus is reliable and is very easy to drive. There are less than 150k Kilometers on the metric odometer which works out to a little over 90k miles.
