Vehicle Description
1947 Ford Super Deluxe Convertible Hot Rod. This Ford Convertible
which appears to have been built in California has a burgundy
exterior with coordinating rich red interior and tan loop
carpeting.
This Ford Convertible has the features that would be expected in a
traditional hot rod. It is an older build but has been well
maintained though its ownership which is apparent by the very good
overall condition. The paint has a great shine with good depth,
there are a few nicks but nothing that would be unexpected from
mild use. The body is straight with consistent panel gaps.
The interior shows very well with no areas of excessive wear. The
faux wood painted dash has a nice presentation apart from a few
areas that have required some touched up.
The underside of the car is extremely solid and clean, the stance
of the car has been lowered for a more aggressive look.
The 350-cubic inch crate motor is mated to a 700R4 automatic
transmission which performs well and runs smooth. The sound of the
dual exhaust enhances the driving experience.
