the late 1980s BMW started selling its limited production
high-performance model, the M6 in the US. On a strictly limited
production run, this beautiful coup set a new standard in luxury
and performance. Offered only with a 24 valve, 256 hp, Six cylinder
engine that was produced at BMWs Motorsports division, these cars
were matted to a specially geared five speed manual transmission.
With many unique touches, the M6 stood apart from any other car on
the road. At the time, it was also one of the most expensive
production cars that could be purchased. Carrying a price tag of
nearly $59,000 in 1988, only a discerning few would have the
ability to buy this car. Today, most examples have high miles, are
heavily modified, and lack the originality that BMW first
engineered. This example however, is different. This is a highly
original car that is extremely well documented. Included is the
original MSRP and PDI forms from the original selling dealer. It is
an example that has lovingly received the best care throughout its
life. With only 55,000 miles it has been it sparingly driven. As
expected, a clean Car Fax does accompany the car and verifies its
miles. As with every car at Pedigree Motorcars, this BMW received
an extensive inspection and service prior to us putting it on the

today. Believed to have all original paint, its finish is
absolutely stunning and shows almost as new. Inside, there is no
die work on the seats, they show very little wear, and every
function works as it is designed to. This BMW is 100% turn key and
can be driven anywhere with complete confidence. Many times we get
questions like does it look that good in person as it does in
pictures? The answer is yes. We have been searching for an M6 for
years and finding one in this condition, originality, and miles has
not been easy. Examples of this quality are extremely rare.
