Vehicle Description
History
Advertised as the "One For '41," Plymouth marketed three distinct
series, for the first time since 1935. At the top of the line was
the P12 Special Deluxe. With a booming economy, sales of the P12
Special Deluxe easily outstripped the combined P11 total, amounting
to 354,139 vehicles.
Special Deluxe came in two- or four-door sedans, business coupes,
auxiliary seat coupes, convertible coupes with full rear seats,
station wagons, and two long-wheelbase sedans, in seven-passenger
and limousine form.
Why This Car Is Special
To the casual observer, the '41 was a mildly restyled '40-"with a
chrome-plated bib." When you look at the 1941 Plymouth P12 Street
Rod we have at Skyway Classics they will see a completely different

resto-modded as they say.
Mechanical Specs
This P12 has a first generation TPI Corvette Fuel injected V8
engine in its bay along with power steering and brakes, air
conditioning, and a lot of chrome and polished parts. The whole car
sits on a custom frame with performance suspension front a-arms and
rear, posi rear end, performance brakes and tires, Billet Custom
Wheels and performance tires, and sooooo much more.
Interior
The interior also saw no expense spared with a custom white leather
power bucket seats and matching rear seats with headrests all the
way around, front and rear custom consoles, painted dash with
digital performance gauges, stereo system all thru the interior,
Billet Steering wheel with leather steering wheel, great carpet and
seatbelts. It even has a Credit Card system that you use as a
key!
Exterior
And don't forget the custom two-tone paint job that looks a mile
deep, with Suicide Doors, Chopped body, great chrome all the way
around, as well as a custom carpeted and formed rear trunk housing
the stereo speaker system.
