Vehicle Description
History
The C/K was Chevrolet and GMC's full -size pickup truck line from
1960 until 2000 in the United States.
The 1960 model year introduced a new body style of light pick-up
truck that featured many firsts. Most important of these were a
drop-center ladder frame, allowing the cab to sit lower, and
independent front suspension, giving an almost car-like ride in a
truck.
This carried over onto the 1963 model like we have here at Skyway
Classics, but that is where the similarity ends.
Why This Truck Is Special
This C10 is an impeccably restored truck that is amazingly clean,
fully restored, and has all the right modifications to make it a
very nice riding vehicle. It only has 97 miles on it since total
rebuild and has many modifications that give it just the right
stance too.
Mechanical Specs
Our C10 has a correct #3858180 327 cubic inch V8 small block Chevy
with 275 horses from the factory. It also has a rebuilt as new
Quadrajet carb, Edelbrock air cleaner, performance ignition, and
cast iron exhaust manifolds leading to a dual exhaust. The painted
engine sits inside a very clean and detailed engine
compartment.
The engine is paired to a Turbo 350 automatic transmission and
sitting in the back underneath a performance modified chassis is a
12 bolt posi rear end laying the power to the ground via
performance tires on Chevy Rally Wheels.
Interior
The interior carries on the stock look with a tan and crme bench
seat with matching door panels, a crme colored painted dash with
great instrumentation and crme seat belts too.
Exterior
The exterior of the C10 is painted in Patina Orange paint with
absolutely no rust, it looks like it has rust in the bed and on the
sides, but that's the cool part of the Patina Orange paint. You
have to see it to believe it!
Conclusion
This 1963 Chevrolet C10 Truck we have here at Skyway Classics is
