Vehicle Description
Beautiful original 1963 Ford Thunderbird convertible powered by its
factory Z-code high-performance 390ci V8 engine with 4-barrel
carburetor and automatic transmission. Equipped with factory air
conditioning and many other desirable options. Beautiful color
combination of Rose Beige over a Rose Beige interior. Stunning in
all respects. 5,913 convertibles were built in 1963, few of which
were optioned with the high-performance 390ci V8 engine, and fewer
of which were equipped with factory SelectAir air conditioning as
this car is. The chrome and trim are excellent, with no pitting or
blemishes. The paint is beautiful and is the only thing not
original on the car, as it was carefully repainted in its original
color. The interior is excellent, with everything fully functional.
The only repairs were to very slight cracks in the driver’s-side
armrest. The rest of the interior is incredibly well-preserved. The
engine bay is fully detailed, and everything is correct and in
place. The trunk is equally well-detailed and holds all of the
freshly rebuilt relays and switches that ensure proper operation of
the correct new vinyl top.
