So here are the details, we have owned the Bronco 2 since Jan of 2016. We purchased it from a couple in Gadsden AL for $7,000 that were close personal friends of a family member for our 16 year old son to drive. At that time, they indicated that the engine was new/rebuilt. It also had new brakes. We took them at their word since we did not have a local mechanic in Gadsden but our local mechanic confirmed the engine was replaced.
Since that time, we have only used one mechanic to work on the car. We had the gear shift system replaced and a variety of hoses and other aged parts replaced since we've owned the car. We have put in about $1500 into the car. I asked my mechanic to describe the condition of the car and he said "Excellent" for the age of the vehicle.
The odometer reads 24,000 give or take but that is bc it has only 5 digit slots so I can't guarantee anything as far as mileage. On the new engine, it has only been driven on one long road trip according to the previous owner and then we drove it from Alabama and then it has only been driven locally for 2 years to and from High School and work.
We are getting rid of the car bc my son will be commuting to college from home next year and we recently purchased a car for him more suitable for the distance to and from campus (30 miles each way).
The Bronco is a stick shift and it stills runs for the age of the vehicle. The interior is gorgeous and it even has a new sound system which my son loved.
