This is possibly the best 57 chevy out there ....... It was in the private collection of PAUL TEUTUL of the TV show AMERICAN CHOPPERS !!! It is the rare color combination of Black ( code 797 ) and with the two tone silver interior ( code 650 ) and it is stunning to see in person . It is old school muscle at it's best.This car has the original drivetrain and it is date coded correct including the very rare real 997 heads. It underwent a three year professional rotisserie restoration . Factory Black 210 '57 plain jane chevs are really hard to come by especially with factory STRAIGHT ORIGINAL sheetmetal . The motor is a 283 with the dual quads and factory original batwing air cleaner pushing out 270 horsepower ... Back in the day these were THE CARS TO BEAT !! Even outrunning the fuelies ...The car has the original type Duntov solid lifter cam and the highest compression of the times at 9.5 getting the name " hot one " Trans is the close ratio column shift as per factory and the ultra rare factory positraction rear . Who ever bought this on in 57 had one thing in mind ..... drag racing !!! This car is ALL BUSINESS AND STILL RUNS OUT AS IF IT WERE new ...THE CAR HAS only 70 BREAK IN miles and is STRONG AS THEY GOT IN 57 !!!!!
