TH350 automatic transmission
The always popular 1955 Ford F100 is an excellent usable classic,
and this example has been owned by the same family for more than 40
years. A complete restoration was performed 25 years ago when the
car was customized to the present condition, remaining in very good
condition today, which is a testament to the high standard of the
professional work completed.
The top was chopped, any problem areas on the body were
replaced, and a modern drivetrain was installed. Powered
by a SBC 350 crate motor and mated to a TH 350 transmission,
the truck is an excellent over the road driver. Replicating
the Fat Man Jack front end systems, the front disc brakes are
sourced from the Chevy S10 with a modern steering column. The
attractive exterior features shaved door handles, good paint and
pliable door and window seals. The interior retains the original
style gauges and velour seating surfaces.
A very solid truck that is an enjoyable cruiser around town or on
road trips.
Auction Estimate: $15,000-18,000
