Vehicle Description
History
Factory Five has been around since 2000 making incredible quality
kit cars. One of which is the GTM supercar. In 2007, Car and Driver
reviewed the GTM when it was a prototype, and it clocked in at 0-60
mph in 3.0 seconds and 1/4 mile in 11 seconds at 134 mph. That
beats the pants off of many "super" cars that are produced
today.
Why Its Special
This car is no longer a kit and has many high quality components in
it. Plus, who doesn't love that 0-60 in 3.0 seconds?
Mechanical Specs
The engine is an LS-, which is which is a staple among Corvette
enthusiasts. The engine has been dynoed at 450hp and 377hp to the
back wheels alone.
The transmission is a Porsche G-60 6 speed with the clutch,
flywheel, and starter. These transmissions are not cheap,
especially ones in this condition.
There are over 350 hours of work put into this car to date and it
shows in all the upgrade that have been made: power steering,
V-Raptor louvers, Koni shocks.
Interior
The interior needs very little. The dash and center console are
complete and look great. Seats are in a secure, as well. Gauges are
all set and functioning.
Exterior
The only thing the the exterior needs is a little bodywork and
paint! Tires are in great shape, and ready for the road.
Conclusion
To buy this kit and have someone else assemble it would be 100k or
more.
