For Sale: 2010 Porsche 911 GT3 RS in Scotts Valley, California
Low mileage of 6,846 miles
One of only 541 examples made for the U.S. in 2010
One owner car
3.8 liter flat six with 450 horsepower
6-speed manual transmission
Front Axle lift system
Bought new in 2011 from Brumos Porsche in Jacksonville, Florida,
this GT3 RS would only see 6,846 miles over the course of its 8
years on the road. The original owner would keep the car in his
possession from 2010 to 2018, and would enter his collection
alongside his Porsche GT3 RS, GT3 RS 4.0, GT2 and his 918
Spyder.
Once the car arrived at Canepa, we set to work to clean and detail
the GT3 RS until it looked as though it had just been delivered
from the factory. The under trays were removed and the entire
chassis was cleaned by hand, leaving no crevice or spot untouched.
The black interior with alcantara accents was also cleaned, as well
as the trunk and engine bay. Lastly, the Slate Grey "Grey Black"
paint was polished only with foam pads and polish to give the 911 a
dazzling sheen. Now ready for its new owner to drive on the
streets, to the racetrack or to enjoy carving up back roads, the
limited edition 997.2 GT3 RS is a driver's delight and dream.
More about the 997.2 GT3 RS:
Receiving a facelift and refresh for 2010, the Porsche 997.2 GT3 RS
gained an extra 15 horsepower from the previous generation for a
total of 450 horsepower from the 3.8 liter flat six. Paired with a
6-speed manual transmission, with shorter gears than the GT3, and
hydraulic steering, the 997.2 GT3 RS is regarded as one of the best
driving Porsche 911s to date. A wider front and rear track than the
regular GT3 increases handling, with a low weight of 3,020 pounds
and lots of rubber on the front and rear make the 997.2 GT3 RS a
corner-eating, track-bred machine.
