Modern components with classic looks! This stunning 1957
Thunderbird, originally from California, has had plenty of work
done to make this an excellent reliable cruiser. Back in 2004, the
312 cubic inch V8 was pulled and completely rebuilt using mostly
stock components with the exception of ARP rod bolts added for
superior strength. After it was rebuilt, the engine ran strong and
smooth but was still lacking modern components to supply it with
added reliability. So in 2013 when the car was brought to Colorado,
the car had many upgrades added including; Holley Avenger
electronic fuel injection system, MSD electronic ignition, modern
power steering, power disc brakes, electric fans for optimum
cooling, a 4L60E automatic transmission with overdrive, electric
power windows, a retro AM/FM sound system, and many more subtle
changes that makes this one of the coolest T-birds on the road
today! The blue paint is in great shape and the Torque Thrust
wheels really set the look off right. As you get behind the
aftermarket steering wheel, you will be grateful for the smaller
diameter steering wheel to let you easily enter and exit the car.
Once you are sitting in the car, fire it up with the simple turn of
a key and begin your drive! The car feels effortless to drive, but
is not lacking in power by any means. It cruises at freeway speeds
with no problem and the modern wheels reduce any body roll. If you
are looking for a car that is reliable enough to go on long
cruises, but do not want to settle for a more modern late model
body style, this 1957 Thunderbird is an excellent option for you!
